Details on reserving your tracking unit with Racing Trax will be provided soon.\nRacer Camping – In order to maintain a safe environment for both the public and the competitors\, access to the racer pits and camping will be restricted exclusively to individuals affiliated with a race team. Racers OR pit crew members can register their campsites ahead of time from within their UNLTD Off-Road Racing accounts once they have completed race or pit crew registration.\nPit Crew Registration – Anyone entering a pit must have a “Pit Crew” Wristband. SUMMARY:Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge
DESCRIPTION:The 2024 Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge is set to be an exciting and revamped edition of the prestigious off-road endurance race. Scheduled to begin on February 25\, 2024\, the event will span 2\,250 kilometers in total\, with 1\,450 kilometers of timed Selective Sections. This makes the race longer than the 2023 edition but shorter than the 2022 version. \nA notable change for 2024 is the introduction of two bivouacs\, with the main hub in Al Dhannah and a new one opening in Liwa. This is the first time that a bivouac will be situated within the Liwa desert\, which has been a predominant location for the rally. The race will start with administrative checks and scrutineering in Abu Dhabi\, then move to the first bivouac in Al Dhannah\, a city along the UAE’s coast. After Al Dhannah\, the rally heads south to Liwa\, where competitors will spend three nights before concluding the event on March 2 in Abu Dhabi. \nOrganized by the Emirates Motorsports Organization\, the 2024 Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge aims to offer a fresh\, dynamic\, and more challenging experience for competitors\, teams\, media\, spectators\, and sponsors. It continues to be a part of the World Rally-Raid Championship\, where it holds its position as the second round of this esteemed series.
