Inside Allout Motorsports’ Ford Super Crew Prerunner

Updated July 21, 2026

Matt Atkin built his Ford Super Crew prerunner mostly in a home garage in Boulder City, Nevada, and it turned into one of the cleaner homebuilt luxury Fords on the dunes. What started as a simple bolt-on kit snowballed into a full ground-up build under his Allout Motorsports banner.

The truck rides on a tube chassis Matt fabricated himself as his skills grew. Up front he started with H&M suspension components, then reworked the whole front end through several iterations, landing on custom A-arms with a center-mounted, trophy-truck-style setup. Raptor-style fiberglass dropped weight and made room for larger tires while cleaning up the look.

Inside, it’s a race-inspired cabin with custom upholstery, analog gauges, MasterCraft seats and a roll cage. Power comes from a stroked LS3. The whole thing is dialed for sand, and it glides through the dunes. Next on the list: heat and A/C to make it usable in any climate.
